About Vincent...

I have been sculpting in rural Texas for many years.  I have had the opportunity to learn a good deal from sculptors and foundrymen here in my native American Southwest and abroad.  I believe in keeping alive humankind's tradition of "creativity through artisanship." Whether I am working on a wildlife sculpture, a devotional piece or a work dealing with the fantastic, I am grateful to be a link in the long-standing tradition of image-making and artisanship.

The inspiration for my art comes from several places.  The natural world, literature, traveling and unique encounters have all contributed to the endless collection of images and visuals that I have catalogued in my mind. I am thankful to be able to select some of the finer ones and translate them, as best as possible, into the realm of 3-D.
