Vincent has been
sculpting in rural Texas for many years. He has had the opportunity to learn a good deal from sculptors and foundrymen in
the American Southwest and abroad.
Vincent believes in keeping the tradition of "creativity
through artisanship" alive. Whether he is working on a wildlife
sculpture, a
devotional piece or a work dealing with the fantastic, he is
grateful to be a link in the long-standing tradition of
image-making and artisanship.
Vincent's inspiration comes from several places
including the
natural world, literature, traveling and unique encounters.
These influences have
all contributed to the endless collection of images and visuals
that are catalogued in Vincent's mind. He is thankful to be able to
select some of the finer ones and translate them, as best as
possible, into the realm of 3-D.
