This is the 66th World Science Fiction Convention, which honors science fiction works in all its forms.  Vince will be showing his latest sci-fi bronze sculptures.

IlluXCon

Altoona, Pennsylvania
IlluXCon is the first & only convention dedicated exclusively to fantastic art illustration.  The primary objective is to create a space where close, personal interaction can take place between artists, their fans, collectors & students of the genre.

Sculptors Dominion International
weekends during April 2008
San Antonio, Texas
Sculptors Dominion International is an annual outdoor international sculpture show is hosted by San Antonio sculptor Gilbert Barrera at his 7 acre estate.  Vincent will be showing a pair of javelina.  Vincent will also be conducting a demonstration bronze pouring on opening night (April 5) at the Black Tie Gala.

World Fantasy Convention 2007
November 1 - 4, 2007
Saratoga, New York
This is an annual convention that focuses on cutting-edge fantasy & sci-fi literature and art.  Among the many attendees are published authors, editors, and artists who are at the top of their field for the genre.  Each year, the convention is held in a different city throughout the world.  Last year's convention was held in Austin.  I won first place for "Best 3-D" art.

In November 2008, look for Spectrum 15, which includes one of Vincent's sculptures.  Vincent's scultpure
"The Technical Ascetic" was published in Spectrum 14 & is now available in stores & online.

World Fantasy Convention 2006
November 2 - 5, 2006
Austin, Texas
This science fiction conventions primary focus is on literary Sci-Fi, while also paying attention to art, animation, science, media, and gaming.  I showcased some of my Sci-Fi pieces...and received a juried award in the "Best 3-D" category.

"Cast Away:  Experimental Bronze-casting"

I participated in a group show at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas.  The show ran from March 22 through April 3, 2004 and included talented artists:  David Iles, Buster Graybill, Luke Sides, and Sherry Owens.  Below are some of the pieces I entered in the show.

On the night of the reception, Buster and Luke gave a bronze pour demonstration for the public.
